Life has been very busy recently, and my output on DIMI and here has suffered. But I’ve still been shooting.
So what has been happening? Well my father-in-law has been sick and in and out of hospital. Since I am the main point of medical contact I’ve spent much time on the phone and in meetings. Naturally, there have also been related family issues that have come up as a result, all wasting time. I’ve started a Master of Arts degree in photography by research. It will be a mix of exhibition and minor thesis (actually exogesis). I’m exploring the representation of spiritual concepts, specifically the Jewish and Christian versions of Kabbalah, in a photomedia context. Should be fun. Plus there’s the usual teaching work, family life and I was just elected school council president at my daughter’s school, so I have handled my first crisis there 
All the above has made me slow on getting a lot of DIMI work out there, specifically my latest camera test results, some software reviews and competition winners. I’m catching up on those this week.
